Mississippi Primary Election

On Tuesday, March 8th, Mississippi voters had the chance to cast their ballots for both the Democrat and Republican primary election.

As expected, Donald Trump won for the Republicans with 47.3% of the vote. Ted Cruz came in a close second with 36.3%, John Kasich finished with 8.8%, and Marco Rubio closed with a low 5.1% of the vote.

For the Democrats, Hilary Clinton overwhelmingly won with 82.6% of the vote.

The next Republican primary election is set for March 12th where registered voters from both the District of Columbia and Wyoming can cast their ballots.
