This Tuesday, New Hampshire residents flocked to the polls in order to cast their votes in the first primary for the 2016 presidential election.

Bernie Sanders beat out both Hilary Clinton and Martin O’Malley, winning 60 percent of the vote. Clinton won 38 percent, while O’Malley won less than 1 percent of the vote.

The Republicans margin was much closer with 12 potential candidates.

Donald Trump turned out to be the winner for the Republican Party with over 35 percent of the vote.

The candidates moved on to campaign in South Carolina, where the Republican primary is February 20th and the Democratic primary is February 27th.
